FINAL Project Report Fossil Fuels Phase Out in Colombia<\/a><\/h3>

Colombia has made a political commitment to integrate renewable energies into its electricity matrix, aiming to reduce reliance on fossil fuels, particularly coal, for electricity generation. However, this transition presents both technical\nand economic challenges. In response, the Ministry of Mines and Energy (MME) sought reliable technical data to assess the national electricity system's capacity to incorporate renewable energies in a safe and reliable manner.
